Detailed Day Wise Itinerary Complete Spiti with Kinnaur Chandrataal 11 Days

• Day : 1 Delhi -Shimla

  Today morning pick from airport/railway station and drive to Shimla. Enroute you will visit Parwanoo, Timbertrail, Pinjore Garden, Solan.Reach Shmla in the evening and transfer to hotel.

• Day : 2 Shimla- Narkanda – Sarahan

  After breakfast drive towards Sarahan from Narkanda. In the evening you will reach in Sarahan. Enjoy your meal at night. Overnight at hotel. After breakfast we will Visiting Sarahan which is famous for its Bhimakali temple, dedicated to the Goddess Bhimakali, presiding deity of the rulers of former Bushahr State. Sarahan is also known as the gateway to Kinnaur.

• Day : 3 Sarahan - Sangla

  After breakfast drive towards the most beautiful valleys of Himalayas, Sangla valley also known as Baspa valley because of river Baspa. Once you enter the border of Kinnaur you will be passing through beautifully engineered roads that takes you to different villages of Kinnaur district. Overnight at camp/hotel.Today after breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive towards Sangla.

• Day : 4 Sangla – chitkul – Sangla

  Today morning after breakfast check out from hotel and Drive to Chitkul .There is a huge dam built over Sutlej at Karchham which you will cross as you drive by. From Karchham, leave the highway again and take the diversion towards Sangla. Have lunch at Sangla and from there come all the way back to the highway at Karchham and from there continue towards Powari. Visit the last village of India and come back to hotel.

• Day : 5 Day 5 - Sangla – Kalpa

  After checkout checkout from the hotel and drive to Powari, leave the highway once again and turn on the road going uphill towards Reckong Peo. From Peo, keep going further up until you reach Kalpa. Reckong Peo is an Army base and foreign nationals have to obtain a pass here to continue further towards Spiti. Kalpa is a small town famous for its apple orchards. Primary attraction of Kalpa is that it presents a magnificent view of Kinner Kailash. Public smoking is banned in Kalpa so do not lit a cigarette out in public. You should also buy your smokes from somewhere on the way as you may not find any cigarettes here on sale. Dinner and over night stay Kalpa.

• Day : 6 Kalpa – Nako

  After breakfast checkout from the hotel you will be driven to Kalpa village (2-3 hrs.). The finest view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash Mountain (6000 metres) can be had from here. This is a spectacular sight early in the morning as the rising sun touches the snowy peaks with crimson and gold light. Kalpa is situated at an altitude of 2759 m from the sea level, on the old Hindustan Tibet Road at a distance of 260 km from Shimla. Earlier it was the District Headquarter of Kinnaur. It is 14 KMS. It has all the characteristics of a heritage village. Kalpa came into prominence in the wake of British Governor General Lord Dalhousie's visit in the 19th century.

• Day : 7 Nako - Tabo – Kazza

  Today we will checkout from the hotel and explore Nako for some time and then we will start our journey towards Tabo . In the evening you will reach in Kaza. Enjoy your meal at night. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day : 8 Kye, Kibber, Langza, Komic. Kaza night

  Today after breakfast we will go for visiting Kye monastery is the largest monastery in Spiti Valley and is founded in 11th Century.Little further is the beautiful Kibber village at the height of 4270 m. Visit Kibber monastery and walk around the village. Kibber is also the starting or end point of famous Parangla trek which connects Spiti valley with Ladakh. If you wish to go for a off road ride follow the link road towards Tashigang and enjoy the rugged terrian of the Himalayas. Later drive back to Kaza for a hot lunch and there after visit Langza known for fossils and Komic village, the highest village in Asia. Overnight at hotel.

• Day : 9 Kaza – Chandratal

  Today we will checkout from the hotel and start our journey towards Chandratal lake . It is also famous as moon lake and famous for its pristine blue waters. Overnight stay in the Camps.

• Day : 10 Chandratal – Manali via atal tunnel

  Today after breakfast check out from the hotel drive to Manali. Reach Manali and and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day : 11 Manali - Delhi

  Today after breakfast check out from the hotel drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi in the evening and drop at desired point.
